Printing Your DateCards

You will have to print your own date cards. After pricing printing, handling, and postage costs, we determined it would be less expensive for you to do the printing with your home computer or at a print shop—but preferably at a print shop (Staples & Office Depot are two examples). Most home printers will not be able to handle the heavier paper stock that's necessary for a professional look and feel. We do provide specifications for printing at home or at a print shop below.

Home Printing

Paper: 80 lb cardstock, Matte finish

Why Matte?

  • Easier to write on (phone numbers)
  • No smudging
  • Professional look
⚠️ DO NOT use glossy — ink won't absorb well for writing

Print Shop

Paper: 100–130 lb cover stock

Best Options:

  • Matte Cover (most common)
  • Uncoated Premium (better for writing)
  • Silk Matte (premium feel, still writable)

Member Instructions

  • •You may have to go to a print shop to get the right paper weight. Please always use white paper stock. You may have to buy a complete package of the correct paper even though you'll only be printing a few sheets. Some shops have the right paper weight in white that they use internally and would give you the paper to print on their printers, or some may just print it for you.
  • •Be very careful cutting the cards so they look professional. It's advisable to have the cards cut at a print shop with their professional cutting units.
  • •You must join before you can download the master copy. Trying to use a copied copy will eventually be discovered as the code number and profile system will get better results with your invitees and will hinder your use for the excellent benefits.
  • •Go to the Master Copy for you to print the cards yourself or bring it to a print shop.
